Week 2, Day 1 - pushing through exhaustion

Last in spite of sheer exhaustion I made myself go run. I pushed through it knowing ti would make me feel better. It was hard to stick to the program and kick it up to the week 2 - after running 90 seconds I definitely needed the 2 minutes of walking! However, I found I was much faster and I still enjoyed it. If I get much faster I'll need to make my destination a little further down on the trail!

When I got home I made dinner: brown rice, sauteed onions & peppers with beans, salsa and monterey jack. It was pretty good! I also packed leftovers for lunch along with snacks of carrots & grapes. I'm feeling pretty good - as though I've turned a page somewhere and things are looking up, but really its just my perspective!
