A couple of my friend plan family vacations together - they pick a location and everyone saves up. It ocurred to me looking at the list of placed I would like to go that perhaps this is a fantastic idea. Husband's family is located on two separate continents which makes get-togethers a bit tough. Any time we want to see one another one of us has to travel more than halfway across the globe which is expensive and kind of a nuisance.

Now to be truthful Husband and I have not yet been able to get over to see his brother (& spouse) or his Mum, although it is goal of ours to make it there.
